Player Eligibility

Eligible participants must be at least 16 years old and have independent base access. Participants younger than 18 years old (16-17 years old) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian throughout the league and tournament. Participants must be affiliated with a base Active Duty/Employee/Retiree/Dependent/Contractor or relative thereof and again must have their own base access I.D. card (not expired). Players found not eligible will result in immediate forfeiture of that game along with individual being removed from that team permanently. Once removed the team will not be allowed to pick up another player. Eligibility disputes will only be entertained during the game in which the infraction is discovered (Example: We are not going back two games to address a dispute). Note: Final decisions on player eligibility disputes will be made before the next game day by the Commissioner or sooner if during the double elimination portion of the league. Players may be asked to provide proof of their eligibility (base access I.D. card) and are required to have it at each game. Teams can be all male, all female, or co-ed. Note: Official game balls will adhere to the male standard for NCAA/NBA play.

Teams

Teams will consist of no more than ten players (plus a coach), five starters and five reserve players. Coaches who play count against the 10-player team roster. Team rosters are finalized 30 minutes prior to the first official Association game. No changes will be accepted after this point. There is no free agency of any kind so if teams are eliminated from the tournament their team players cannot subsequently be picked up and placed on another team. Prizes will only be guaranteed to the official team roster members submitted at the beginning of the season.

PLAYER EXPECTATIONS

All Association players are expected to adhere to all league rules and are subject to suspension, disqualification or expulsion should the infraction warrant it. Players should never make intentional contact with referees. Players are expected to maintain professionalism and not become belligerent towards other players or league officials. Players are expected to sign a waiver and acknowledgement of established Association rules. There will be no cursing during league play.
