Eligibility Category A
All of our programs and services are open to the following:
+ IMPORTANT: DoD no longer issues ID cards for DoD Civilian Retirees. DoD Civilian Retirees must now gain access to the DSCC Installation using a REAL ID Act-compliant driver’s licenses.
*Family Member Definition & Eligibility
The DSCC defines the following as a “family member” as it relates to installation access:
- Spouse of a sponsor.
- Un-remarried widow or widower of a member or former member of a uniformed service.
- Unmarried child of a sponsor, including an adopted child, stepchild, foster child, or ward, who either—
- Has not passed his/her 21st birthday.
- Is incapable of self-support because of a mental or physical incapacity that existed before that birthday and is (or was at the time of the member’s or former member’s death) in fact dependent on the sponsor for over one-half of his/her support.
- Has not passed his/her 23rd birthday, is enrolled in a full-time course of study in an institution of higher learning approved by a Secretary of an executive department specified in 10 USC Section 1073, and is (or was at the time of the member’s or former member’s death) in fact dependent on the sponsor for over one-half of his/her support.
- Parent or parent-in-law of a sponsor who is (or was at the time of the member’s or former member’s death) in fact dependent on the sponsor for one-half of his/her support and residing in the sponsor’s household.
The Family Member Policy entitles authorized patrons to use the following basic MWR services: Fitness Center; Eagle Eye Golf Club; Outdoor Recreation (Rental Center, RV Storage Log, Buckeye Lodge); ITR Gift Shop; ITR Tickets & Travel (some tickets are subject to additional eligibility requirements). Eligibility Category B: VHIC Card Holders
Some of our MWR Programs & Services are open to Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC) holders. These include:
(excludes access to Fitness Center, Sports Program, Child Development Center and Family Services)

Eligibility Category C: Public Access
Civilians not associated with the Defense Supply Center Columbus are now able to receive an Eagle Eye Golf Club 1-Year Access Pass!
Please be aware that you must submit all required forms and will be subject to a background check before you are issued an access pass.

Fitness Center Guest Policy
There is a limit of two guests per authorized patron at the Fitness Center. A guest must be accompanied by an authorized patron while utilizing the Fitness Center.
