There is no greater bodyweight exercise than the pull-up and that is why it is our next fitness challenge!
DATE: JULY 13TH
TIME: ALL DAY
How to do a pull-up with proper form:
- Grab the pull-up bar with your palms down (shoulder-width grip)
- Hang on pull-up bar with straight arms and keep your legs off the floor
- Pull yourself up by pulling your elbows down to the floor
- Go all the way up until your chin passes the bar
- Lower yourself until your arms are straight
Modified pull-up: The hang will be accepted as a substitute for the pull-up
- The Hang – Lift up to the bar with your arms in the flexed position until your chin drops below the bar
