FEATURES

The Bettye Ackerman-Cobb Child Development Center (CDC) is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). It is a government owned and operated facility managed through the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) organization. The primary goal of the CDC is to provide educational learning experiences and a variety of opportunities that promote the child's physical, social, and intellectual growth following the Early Learning Matters (ELM) Curriculum.

To be eligible to receive care at the Bettye Ackerman-Cobb Child Development Center parents must belong to one of the eligible patronage groups found under the Childcare Eligibility tab. In addition children must have a current shot record and be between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years. Enrollment in our program includes the CDC staff providing meals that include breakfast, lunch, and a snack supplement served daily according to USDA guidelines.
