MWR Battle Creek Hike Club at Woodland Nature Preserve

Come Join MWR Nature Hike Club at Woodland Nature Preserve on June 8, 2024, starting at 2:00 PM. The Hike Club meets once a month to spend some time in nature while getting some exercise. Woodland Nature Preserve is a rustic and peaceful trail that showcases its natural beauty with a variety of wildflowers, wetlands, wildlife, and old growth timber. This trail is great for hiking and walking, and it’s unlikely you’ll encounter many other people while exploring. Each hike will be at a different trailhead to make each hike a unique experience. 

Meeting Location: (14175 Helmer Road S Battle Creek, MI 49015) 

Make sure to bring your own water bottle and dress for the weather. The Woodland Nature Preserve allows visitors to reconnect with nature while traversing unimproved trails through natural settings. Generally considered an easy route stretching about 2.5 miles that takes around an hour to complete. Feel free to invite your friends and family to join us for some fresh air.
