Come Join MWR Nature Hike Club at Calhoun County Trail on May 11, 2024, starting at 2:00 PM. The Hike Club meets once a month to spend some time in nature while getting some exercise. The Calhoun County Trailway is a 5.3-mile stretch in Battle Creek, it begins where the Battle Creek Linear Path ends, then traverses various open space easements, Ott Preserve, Kimball Pines, and ends in the Historic Bridge Park. This trail is a safe place to walk, hike, run, or bike.
Meeting Location: (14930 Wattles Rd., Battle Creek)
Make sure you bring your own water bottle and dress for the weather. Feel free to invite your friends and family to join us for some fresh air. You may also bring your dog, but they must be on a leash. The average completion time to walk all the trails is around 3 hours. Each hike will be at a different trailhead to make each hike a unique experience.
