Join MWR on Thursday, September 23rd, 2021, from 11:30 AM-12:00 PM EST for the Lunch & Learn Presentation: Gentle Chair Yoga and Guided Meditation.

Yoga is known to reduce stress, increase focus, and support self-regulation of the nervous system. Incorporating chair yoga into your routine is a fantastic way to incorporate “brain breaks” into your day while providing you the physical and mental boost of any yoga practice. Chair yoga does not require additional space or supplies (i.e., yoga mats) and can be easily modified to meet your unique needs. During this workshop, we will start with a centering practice, followed by a full body chair yoga routine and end with a guided meditation. This workshop is facilitated by Chelsie Downs-Hubbarth.


Chelsie Downs-Hubbarth Bio:

Chelsie Downs-Hubbarth is a certified Wellness Coach, Trauma-Informed Yoga Facilitator, Behavioral Change Specialist and Personal Trainer. Chelsie integrates her passion for mindful movement, body positivity, and intuitive eating into her wellness coaching to meet the unique needs of each of her clients. Chelsie is a mom of three boys and spends her free time working in her garden, making art and spontaneous adventures with her husband.
