STRONG B.A.N.D.S. = Balance – Activity – Nutrition – Determination - Strength

STRONG B.A.N.D.S. was created to energize and inspire communities Army-wide about healthy lifestyles that support resiliency.  This promotion provides garrisons with a way to show-case their sports/fitness programs during National Physical Fitness and Sports Month.  The wrist bands symbolize each community’s commitment to a healthier lifestyle.

MWR would like to invite you to participate in the following STRONG B.A.N.D.S events throughout the 5 weeks of this Army sponsored

Week 1:  May 1-7 – May the 4th Be With You – 5k Run on May 4, 2022 at 1130

Week 2:  May 8-14 – Nutrition Lunch & Learn on May 10, 2022 at 1130 on Zoom

        How to Keep Your Flowers Fresh – L&L May 12, 2022 at 1200 in Room 2-1-64

        Weekly Challenge:  Step-Up Challenge

Week 3:  May 15-21 – Family Advocacy Program – Mental Health Information Tables in Washington Street and Champion Street Lobby May 18-25, 2022

                                         Weekly Challenge:  H20 Challenge

Week 4:  May 22-28 – Leisure Travel Q&A Session on May 26, 2022 at 1130 in Room 2-1-64

                                         Weekly Challenge:  Plank Challenge

Week 5:  May 29-June 4 – ODR Basketball Shootout on June 1, 2022 at 1100 in Parking Lot 10
