Join MWR on Thursday, September 30th, 2021 from 11:30 AM-12:00 PM EST for the Lunch & Learn Presentation: Progressive Muscle Relaxation.

Progressive Muscle Relaxation is a relaxation technique that helps you identify where you hold tension in the body and helps you distinguish what it feels like to be completely relaxed – one muscle group at a time. Once you learn progressive muscle relaxation, this technique can be performed in many different settings and is especially useful right before sleep. Practicing progressive muscle relaxation several times per week has been shown to control stress, relieve insomnia, improve stress, reduce symptoms of chronic pain.This workshop is facilitated by Chelsie Downs-Hubbarth.


 

Chelsie Downs-Hubbarth Bio:

Chelsie Downs-Hubbarth is a certified Wellness Coach, Trauma-Informed Yoga Facilitator, Behavioral Change Specialist and Personal Trainer.  Chelsie integrates her passion for mindful movement, body positivity, and intuitive eating into her wellness coaching to meet the unique needs of each of her clients. Chelsie is a mom of three boys and spends her free time working in her garden, making art and spontaneous adventures with her husband.
